Update Account Information
What is Innohub Account
Innohub account stores the information that we collect about you in order to provide you with the services (we often can name this as your account or your profile). The minimum information that we need is your email and password. This information allows you to login to innohub (and to any other PMC owned website/service). We do not need to collect more information in order to allow you to enter innohub. This minimum information is provided by you during registration.
Some of our content/services requires more information about you. Sometime we may need your name and the organisation that your account is linked to and, for paid services we would need your billing address. This additional information is also stored in your account. We do not require additional information from you when you register to innohub. We will ask you to provide this additional information only when you would like to get access to those services that requires such additional information.
We strongly advise you to read our privacy policy before creating/updating your account information.
What is the purpose of the account update function
The main function is to allow you to update the account information when this information changes or when you want to get access to services that requires additional information.
WARNING: You cannot change the email that you used for registration to Innohub
The account information may be also used when you forget your registration email. In such situation you cannot use the self-service function in order to get access to Innohub and you need to require assistance from us. This assistance may consist in engaging direct communication with us in order to validate some information from your account and provide you with the needed login email. For this reason, as soon as you registered with Innohub, we recommend to update your account with minimum information (i.e. your name and phone number or your name and address) that we may use to recover your account in case that you forget your registration email.
Responsibility
You are the only one responsible for the accuracy of the information from your account/profile. We strongly advise you to read our terms of services in order to understand more about responsibilities. We will not modify/update your account information but we provide you with all tools that allows you to do so. Additionally, based on your specific request, we can erase your account and account information, under the provisions of our privacy policy.
How to update Account Information
You have to be logged in to innohub in order to be able to update your account information. Once you are inside innohub, there are two possibilities to go to your account page:
- from innohub.space main page, click on the account icon shown in the toolbar
- from any other innohub sub-site (including Innohub Documentation), click on your username that is shown in the page header
